Biografia:
Animal Collective é uma banda de rock experimental originária de Baltimore, Maryland, Estados Unidos formada em 2000. Apesar de ser muitas vezes considerado psicodélico com ressonâncias de folclore, o som dos Animal Collective é difícil de definir, pois é comum nos seus álbuns que ocorram diferentes estilos e ideias. Alguns álbuns dos Animal Collective não contam com a participação de todos os seus membros.
O grupo adotou o nome Animal Collective a partir do quarto álbum, Here Comes the Indian, com a entrada de Deakin.
