Biografia:
Cyndi Lauper gravou seu primeiro álbum 1980 ao lado da Banda Blue Angel, que logo se desfez. Em 1983 foi lançado seu primeiro álbum solo, She's So Unusual, que viria a lhe dar notoriedade em todo o mundo. O álbum vendeu 300 mil cópias no Brasil e 16 milhões no resto do mundo em 1984. O primeiro single, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", atingiu o topo das paradas chegando a se tornar um hino da geração MTV. Contudo, foi com o segundo single, "Time After Time", que Cyndi Lauper atingiu o primeiro lugar nos mais diversos países.
