Biografia:
Beirut é uma banda formada em 2006 em Santa Fé (Novo México) por Zach Condon. Em 6 de Novembro de 2006, a etiqueta britânica 4AD lançou o primeiro disco de Beirut, este editado graças à colaboração de Jeremy Barnes (Neutral Milk Hotel) e Heather Trost (A Hawk and a Hacksaw). A banda é fortemente influenciada pela música folk, trazendo assim instrumentos como violinos, violoncelos, órgãos, pianos, ukuleles, tambores, congas, clarinetes, bandolim, guitarra, e trompetes.
