Biografia:
De 1992 a 1995, Rie Fu viveu em Maryland com sua família. Foi onde aprendeu a tocar piano, e onde ganhou a maioria de suas inspirações para musica, chamada "Sheryl Crow", "Michelle Branch" e musicos dos anos 70, como "The Carpenters como notaveis influencias.
Depois de retornar ao japão, de 1995 à 2003, Rie terminou sua primária e secundária educação em Tóquio, Em 2002 ela aprendeu guitarra, e quase imediatamente começou a compor canções e grava-las em um pequeno gravador de som.
