Biografia:
Com seu som penetrante e guitarra noise, Ride foi um dos principais expoentes do movimento shoegazer - ao lado do My Bloody Valentine. A banda surgiu em 1988 na cidade de Oxford, Inglaterra, e era composta por Andy Bell ( Guitarra, vocal), Mark Gardener (Guitarra, vocal), Loz Colbert (Bateria), Steve Queralt (Baixo).
Após 10 singles e 4 álbuns lançados, a banda se separou em 1996. Em 2001, ocorreu uma reunião para participar de um filme sobre o Sonic Youth.
