Biografia:
Pantera foi uma banda de metal estadunidense originária da cidade de Arlington, no estado do Texas, no ano de 1981. Formada pelos irmãos Abbott, Vinnie Paul e Diamond Darrell (o nome Dimebag Darrell só começou a ser utilizado já nos anos de 1990). O baixista Rex Brown se juntou à banda no fim de 1981, juntamente com o vocalista Terry Glaze. Em 1987 Phil Anselmo se tornou o vocalista. Após o desmembramento da banda em 2003, quaisquer esperanças de uma possível reunião foram perdidas em 8 de dezembro de 2004
