Nascida em Los Angeles, Califórnia no dia 14 de Maio de 1993, Miranda Cosgrove é uma atriz, cantora e compositora estadunidense. Ficou famosa interpretando dois papéis: Megan Parker na série original da Nickelodeon Drake & Josh, com apenas 11 anos (2004). E Carly Shay, em iCarly, outra série original da Nickelodeon, que teve seu primeiro episódio em 2007 e último em novembro de 2012.
Seguindo o sucesso de iCarly, uma trilha sonora auto-intitulada foi lançada em junho de 2008, onde Cosgrove interpreta quatro canções.
