Biografia:
Low consiste de um trio de indie rock americano, mas especificamente de Duluth, no Minnesota. O grupo foi formado em 1993, por Alan Sparhawk (guitarra and vocais), Mimi Parker (bateria e vocais) e o baixista original John Nichols (baixo). Zak Sally substituiu Nichols após o primeiro album e turnê da banda. Em 2005, Sally saiu da banda; Matt Livingston o substituiu em seguida, criando a formação atual de Sparhawk, Parker e Livingston.
Sua música é comumente descrita como sendo "slowcore"
