Biografia:
Ezequias Leroy Gordon Smith (14 de agosto de 1909 - 25 de setembro de 1967), mais conhecido como Stuff Smith, foi um violinista de jazz .
Smith foi, juntamente com Stéphane Grappelli e Joe Venuti, foi um dos violinistas mais proeminentes de sua época. Tornado-se ilustre por suas interpretações do swing norte-americano dos anos 20 e 30.
Além de tocar em diversas big bands em sua carreira, Smith trabalhou com Coleman Hawkins bem como com músicos mais jovens, como Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie e, posteriormente, Sun Ra.
