Seu primeiro single “Royals” foi destaque mundial, atingindo #1 no iTunes US e permanecendo no top 10 durante 3 meses consecutivos. Lorde recebeu 4 indicações no Grammy Awards, dentre elas, 2 vencedoras pelo prestígio de “Royals”. A canção também alcançou a posição #1 na parada Hot 100 da Billboard permanecendo em primeiro por 9 semanas consecutivas.
