O Wire Train nasceu através de uma talentosa dupla de compositores, Kevin Hunter e Kurt Herr. Hunter foi um menino de sorte e deixou a América para estudar na França, Itália e Espanha. Desde cedo, Kevin era chegado em poesia e literatura, e teve dois contos publicados aos dezesseis anos. Ao voltar para seu país, foi estudar poesia em San Francisco e deu de cara com Kurt Herr.
