Biografia:
Timbuk 3 foi uma banda americana de post-punk formada em Madison, Wisconsin em 1984 pelo casal Pat MacDonald e Barbara K. MacDonald.
No meio dos anos 80, mais precisamente em 1986, o mundo pop foi sacudido por uma canção diferente, que misturava um country com um ritmo pré-gravado e um casal totalmente diferente, munidos de violões cantando "o futuro é tão brilhante que preciso usar óculos escuros". E se a música era estranha, o casal com seu visual hippie não deixava nada a desejar.
