Biografia:
The Winery Dogs é um power trio de rock formado em 2012 por Mike Portnoy (bateria), Billy Sheehan (baixo) e Richie Kotzen (este último substituindo o primeiro guitarrista/vocalista John Sykes).
A banda lançou seu álbum de estreia, auto-intitulado, em 2013 (23 de julho). Este, foi muito bem recebido pela crítica, na qual Billy Sheehan explora o baixo de forma impressionante. Algumas faixas como "Elevate" e "Not Hopeless" possuem solos de contrabaixo e até contrabaixo e guitarra, mostrando um percentual da habilidade destes.
