Biografia:
O The Whispers é um grupo de R&B de Los Angeles formado em 1964 pelos gêmeos Walter e Wallace Scott, além de Nicholas Caldwell, Marcus Hutson e Gordy Harmon. Seu primeiro sucesso foi "I was born when you kissed me" em 1964. O grupo atingiu o topo de uma parada de sucesso pela primeira vez em 1969, com a liderança na parada soul ianque com o hit "This time has come". Seu maior sucesso foi "And the beat goes on" em 1980, muito tocada nas rádios brasileiras nessa época.
