Biografia:
The Trashmen é uma banda musical estado-unidense de surf rock e rock de garagem formada em 1962, gravando seu primeiro compacto com as canções "Sally Jo" e "Cyclone". Liderada por Tony Andreason (guitarra), Dan Winslow (guitarra e vocal), Bob Reed (baixo) e Steve Wahrer (bateria e vocal). Steve Wahrer morreria de câncer na garganta em janeiro de 1989, aos 47 anos.
The Trashmen colocou Minneapolis no mapa das grandes bandas de garagem em 1963 com o seu sucesso "Surfin’ Bird", que alcançou o Top 5 nos Estados Unidos.
