Biografia:
The Psychedelic Furs é uma banda de post-punk formada em Londres, Inglaterra em 1977. O nome Psychedelic Furs não é o primeiro escolhido pelo grupo. Inicialmente, chamava-se "RKO" (inclusive há menção ao grupo no filme The Rocky Horror Picture Show, nos créditos de abertura) e, posteriormente, "Radio". Em um terceiro momento, o grupo ficou em dúvida sobre qual nome utilizar: The Europeans ou The Psychedelic Furs, mantendo a alternância de nomes em suas apresentações até finalmente escolherem a segunda opção como nome permanente.
