Biografia:
Formado em 2004, de Poughkeepsie, NY, o National Lights foi criado pelo singer-songwriter Jacob Thomas Berns e Chris Kiehne (The Bland Allisons).
Sua estréia, The Dead Will Walk, Dear, foi gravado entre julho de 2005 e junho de 2006, e foi lançado pela BloodShake Records, um selo criado por Berns e Kiehne, e que agora pertence e é operada pelo Berns e seu irmão Louis Adam.
