É uma banda folk inglesa formada por Nick Hemming, e composta por: Nick Hemming, Christian Hardy, Mike Siddell, William Calderbank, Helen Whitaker, Sebastian Hankins e Darren Bonehill.
The Leisure Society tem sido muito apreciada, e elogiada pela crítica que as músicas e os vídeos trazem. Sendo assim, apelidada de "English answer to popular U.S acts" ("Resposta inglesa pelos atos populares do EUA"). Comparada neste aspecto com Grizzly Bear, Department of Eagles e Fleet Foxes.
