Biografia:
Os The Fire Theft formaram-se em 2001 e apresentam grande parte dos membros dos Sunny Day Real Estate. O seu primeiro álbum, homónimo, foi lançado em 2003. Em 2004 a banda ainda lançou um ep com 3 faixas com título de Hands on You.
A banda encontra-se neste momento num período indefinido de hiato.
