Biografia:
The Commitments é um filme dramático dirigido por Alan Parker em 1991.
Baseado em livro homônimo do escritor irlandês Roddy Doyle, o filme conta a história de Jimmy Rabbitte (Robert Arkins), um jovem de 21 anos que quer tornar-se empresário e levar a soul music para Dublin, Irlanda. Após entrevistar dezenas de candidatos Jimmy forma os "Commitments", uma banda com músicos inexperientes, três vocalistas improvisadas e um egocêntrico como cantor.

have Ann Peebles' 1973 recording to work from. (she doesn't have
her own tab section). The Commitment's version is pretty true to
the original. After all the whole premise of the fairy tale group
was to mimic the original soul masters.
