Biografia:
O Beau Brummels foi um grupo que nasceu quando o cantor Sal Valentino e o guitarrista Ron Elliott juntaram forças. Sal (seu nome real é Sal Spampinato) e Ron se conheceram no final dos anos 50, na escola. Elliott estudava composição musical na San Francisco State College, enquanto Sal cantava em pequenas bandas locais. Em 1962, Sal gravou um compacto com a canção “I Wanna Twist”, pelo selo Falcon, mas nada aconteceu. Os dois resolveram então formar um grupo ao lado do baixista Ron Meagher
