SINNER é uma banda de Heavy Metal alemã, formada no inicio dos anos 80's pelo baixista e vocalista Matthias Lasch que depois ficou mais conhecido como Mat Sinner. No inicio, eles eram uma banda de Hard Rock, bom, isso foi até o ano de 1998, quando eles lançaram o divisor de águas "The Nature of Evil", que mudou totalmente o estilo, saindo do Hard Rock para o poderoso e pesado Heavy Metal Tradicional.
