Biografia:
Sarah Brightman nasceu no dia 14 de agosto de 1960 (signo de Leão), em Berkhampstead, próximo a Londres, Inglaterra. É filha de Greenville Brightman e Paula Hall, e é a mais velha de seis irmãos: Nichola, Claudia, Jay, Joel e Amelia.
Seu gosto pela arte revelou-se muito cedo: aos três anos começou dançando balé clássico na Elmhurst Ballet School, e fazendo artes na Arts Educational School. Era uma aluna muito atenciosa. Ao ser reprovada num teste para ingresso na Royal Ballet School de Londres
