Saint Etienne é uma banda de música eletrônica formada no ano de 1990 em Londres. A banda consiste em Bob Stanley e Pete Wiggs e Sarah Cracknell nos vocais.
Bob Stanley e Pete Wiggs eram amigos de infância e jornalistas de música.
Eles originalmente tinham planejado que Saint Etienne usaria uma variedade de vocalistas diferentes, seu primeiro álbum intitulado de 'Foxbase Alpha' possuiu várias vocalistas, incluindo Moira Lambert e Donna Savage.
