Biografia:

Mark Kasprzyk better known as Redlight King now known as M. Rivers (born 1977 from Hamilton, Ontario) Intense, soulful and poetic, Redlight King's music is both biographical and cathartic. OLD MAN

D
He didnt have much
F
A pair of hard working hands
C
Everything that I needed
G
I got it from the old man
D
With a nine second dream
F
He drove the Redlight Bandit
C
And the grease on his hands
F
Was the way he commanded
D
And the life he demanded
F
It kept us all in a struggle
C
When he ruled with his fist
G
It kept us all out of trouble
D
Even though he would leave
F
He wore his heart on his sleeve
C
And by the way that he walked
F
He taught me how to believe

D Am7
Old man look at my life
Em7 G
Take a look, take a look
D Am7
Old man look at my life
Em7 G
cause I’m a lot like you
D/F# Am7 G
Old man, old man take a look at my life
D/F# Am7 G
Old man, old man take a look at my life
F C D
cause I’m a lot like you

D
Growin’ up at the track
F
He had a reason for being fast
C
His heart felt like breaking
G
He’d look right up at the ceiling and
D
Start again,
F
never breathe a word of his loss
C
Cause it’s not about winning
G
It’s the rivers you cross
D
And the pain that you feel
F
Could be the fuel that you use
C
And if you’re in need of direction
G
Be it the path that you choose
D
My old man is a legend
F
He cast a shadow so great
C
I think of how he is watchin’
G
With every move that I make

D Am7
Old man look at my life
Em7 G
Take a look, take a look
D Am7
Old man look at my life
Em7 G
cause I’m a lot like you
D/F# Am7 G
Old man, old man take a look at my life
D/F# Am7 G
Old man, old man take a look at my life
F C D
cause I’m a lot like you

Now there’s no slowin’ down
There’s only settin’ the pace
No more dreams to be stolen
Just the right ones to chase
You’ve been through the worst
Now you know who to trust
Leave them something behind
Before the ashes and dust

Old man look at my life
Old man look at my life
Old man, old man take a look at my life
cause I’m a lot like you
Old man, old man take a look at my life
cause I’m a lot like you
Old man, old man take a look at my life
Take a look, take a look
Old man, old man take a look at my life
cause I’m a lot like you
Old man, old man take a look at my life
Take a look, take a look
Old man, old man take a look at my life
cause I’m a lot like you
