Biografia:
A data de início da banda é desconhecida. Os quatro membros começaram a tocar juntos algum dia no início dos anos noventa, mas a entidade conhecida como Penfold surgiu algum tempo em 1996 ou 1997. Depois de tocar juntos há mais de 10 anos, 3 álbuns lançados, em março de 2003 os integrantes do Penfold decidiram dar o fim na banda.
Seu último show ocorreu em Old Bridge, New Jersey, no salão M & M em 22 de março.
Logo após o termino do Penfold, três membros originais começaram uma banda chamada The Moirai.
