Um dos mais celebrados músicos de blues desde meados da década de 50, Otis Rush conseguiu estabelecer-se quase que a pulso, devendo às vezes à sorte e quase sempre ao talento e ao esforço a prossecução dos seus objectivos. Corria o ano de 1948 quando Rush encontrou Muddy Waters, em Chicago. A partir desse momento, o músico nascido em Filadélfia tirou todas as dúvidas quanto ao seu futuro.
