If you notice, You can keep your pinky and ring finger anchored to the E and B string
and only move your middle and/or index finger to change in between G, Em7/B, and D/F#.
It makes it soooo much easier.

D=(x x 0 2 3 2)
G=(3 2 x x 3 3)
A=(x 0 2 2 2 0)
Em=(0 2 2 0 0 0)
Bm=(x 2 4 4 3 2)
D/F#=(2 x x x 3 3)
Em7/B=(x 2 2 x 3 3)

Feet Back on the Ground

[Intro]
D G D G

[Verse 1]
D G
I drop by to check on mama, for a minute
D G
I could hear her hummin' a tune, through the screen door in the kitchen
D A G
She was puttin' the final touches on a homemade pee-can pie
Em A
Yea, and just like always, I was right on time

[Verse 2]
D G
A little game of guess who, and I got a hug
D
And "How's my baby?", I said, you know me momma,
G
I've been hittin' it hard, and runnin' like crazy,
D A G
But I don't wanna bore you with that same old, nothin's new,
Em A
I'd rather just pull up this chair and get caught up on you

[Chorus]
D A G
Ain't it funny how it all comes back around?
D A G A
I remember when I couldn't wait to get out of her hair and ditch this town
Bm A G D/F#
I was 18, time to move on, now it's any reason to go back home
Em7/B D/F# G
That's what it's all about, yeah, just slowin' down
D G
And get my feet back on the ground

[Verse 3]
D G
That minute turned into an hour before I knew it
D G
I got my fill on pie and how ever-body's doin'
D A G
I used to look for every reason in the world, to hit that door and she said
Em
Do you want another cup of coffee
A
And I said "yeah mama I'll have one more"

[Bridge]
D A G
Ain't it funny how it all comes back around?
D A G A
I remember when I couldn't wait to get out of her hair and ditch this town
Bm A G D/F#
I was 18, time to move on, now it's any reason to go back home
Em7/B D/F# G
That's what it's all about, yeah, just slowin' down
D A G D A G
And get my feet back on the ground Yea

[Outro]
Bm A G D/F#
Can't go too many days without checkin' in, just touchin' base
Em7/B D/F# G
And just slowin' down, back on the ground

[Tag]
D G
I drop by to check on mama, For a minute
