Biografia:
MC5 (que significa Motor City Five) foi uma banda de rock formada em 1964 na cidade de Detroit, Michigan, por Wayne Kramer (guitarra), Michael Davis (baixo), Rob Tyner (vocais), Dennis Thompson (bateria) e Fred "Sonic" Smith (guitarra).
Pouco conhecida, a banda de Detroit MC5, foi precursora do punk e uma das primeiras a fundir a agressividade musical com idéias políticas. O grupo iniciou suas atividades em 66, com o nome Motor City Five. No final da década de 60, gravaram dois compactos que passaram em branco.
