Matt Schofield (nacido el 21 de agosto de 1977) es un guitarrista y cantautor británico. Su estilo musical combina principalmente blues con jazz y funk. La revista Guitar & Bass Magazine le incluyó en su lista de los 10 Mejores Guitarristas, al lado de iconos como Eric Clapton y Peter Green.

and gets a very bluesish/jazzy fusion... try to get this by combining
major and minor pentatonic licks, chromatic runs, and the Dorian mode
*Lots of legato... his tone is very smooth with plenty of slides,
hammer-ons and pull-offs
*Traverses the fretboard up and down very quickly, and often doesn't
stay in the same position for more than a couple of riffs... so try
soloing "diagonally"
