Biografia:
Marine Girls foram um grupo pós-punk de Hatfield, Hertfordshire. O grupo foi formado em 1980, por duas amigas de escola: Tracey Thorn e Gina Hartman. Originalmente, Thorn apenas tocava guitarra e Hartman foi a vocalista e percussionista. Thorn superou sua timidez e começou a cantar muito no momento em que começou a fazer registros. Elas se juntaram posteriormente a Jane Fox no baixo e sua irmã mais nova, Alice, nos vocais conjuntos e percussão.
