Onika Tanya Maraj (Saint James, Porto de Espanha; 8 de dezembro de 1982) é uma artista musical trinidiana, naturalizada estadunidense. Nasceu na cidade trinidiana de Saint James e se mudou para o distrito de
Queens, de Nova Iorque, quando tinha cinco anos de idade.
Depois de lançar três mixtapes entre 2007 e 2009 e ter assinado um contrato com a gravadora Young Money em agosto do último ano mencionado, Minaj lançou seu álbum de estreia, Pink Friday, em novembro de 2010.
