Lloyd, nome completo,Lloyd Harlin Polite Jr. , é americano ator, e cantor de R&B. Nasceu em New Oeleans, Lousiana em 3 de Janeiro e 1986, Seu pai morreu quando ele tinha apenas 2 anos, e ele sua mae e sua irmã mais velha se mudaram para Atlanta.
Lloyd foi descoberto pela produtora Joyce Irby quando ele tinha 14 anos no grupo pré-adolescente N-Toon, junto com seu irmão mais novo Chuckie. Ganhou o premio Nickelodeon Show Duble dare em 2000 e fechou o contrato com a DreamWorks Records.
