Biografia:
Nascido em uma humilde família dos arredores da localidade de Inverness, no delta do Mississippi, "Little" Milton foi descoberto por Ike Turner, pioneiro do rock e do blues. Gravou seus primeiros álbuns no início dos anos 50, na mítica Sun Records, de Sam Phillips, onde conheceu outro jovem intérprete também desconhecido naquela época: Elvis Presley.
Após várias produções na Sun sem muita repercussão, Milton foi para San Louis, onde se tornou sócio da Bobbin Records.
