Biografia:
The Chainsmokers é uma dupla de produtores/DJs de Nova Iorque, formada por Andrew Taggart (nascido em 1989) e Alex Pall (nascido em 1985). Desde o seu single "Closer" (2016), Taggart tem atuado também como vocalista da dupla. Atualmente eles possuem contrato com a gravadora Disruptor, que resultou de uma parceria do seu manager com a Sony.
Seu primeiro single foi o tema "Erase" (2012), que conta com vocais de Priyanka Chopra. Contudo, apenas se tornaram conhecidos do grande público com o irônico "#SELFIE", single lançado em 2014.
