Biografia:
Television é uma banda formada em Nova York, Estados Unidos, no ano de 1973, e também foi a primeira banda punk a tocar no CBGB. Sua primeira formação consistia em Tom Verlaine (Vocal, teclado e guitarra), Billy Ficca (bateria) e Richard Hell (baixo e vocal).
Com essa formação a banda também teve o nome de The Neon Boys, e no final de 1973 foi chamado para a segunda guitarra Richard Lloyd. Hell saiu do grupo em 1975 por brigas com Verlaine.
