Biografia:
Taco Ockerse es un cantante conocido popularmente como Taco.
Nació el 21 de julio de 1955, en Yakarta, Indonesia, hijo de una pareja holandesa.
Taco adquiró estrellato internacional cuando en 1982 se registró un récord distintivo del cover de "Puttin' in the Ritz", de Irving Berlin, en Alemania, que lo hizo famoso a principios del año siguiente (Billboard de Estados Unidos número 4). Se inspiró en los principios de su carrera por un joven baterista de Ohio llamado Dean Bouffard.
