Biografia:
Shocking Blue era um banda de rock holandesa formada em 1967. A formação da banda era: Mariska Veres (vocal), Robbie van Leeuwen (guitarra e cítara), Cor van der Beek (bateria) e Klassje van der Wal (baixo).
Seu maior hit, "Venus," esteve em primeiro lugar durante o mês de fevereiro de 1970. Mesmo com este hit internacional, são pouco lembrados hoje - mesmo depois que a banda Nirvana (dos anos 90) regravou a música Love Buzz, do álbum "At Home", de 1969.
