Biografia:
Filho de Bob Marley, Ziggy aproximou-se do reggae incitado pelos hinos do pai, considerado o criador e maior porta-voz do gênero. Ao lado dos irmãos, que compõem o Melody Makers, grupo que o acompanhou em seu primeiro disco, Ziggy Marley conseguiu relativa repercussão fazendo músicas ligadas ao reggae tradicional mas, ao contrário do pai, muito mais próximas das temáticas relativas a festas e música do que a questões sociais. Em 2003 lançou “Dragonfly”, em que mostra sua competência também como compositor de rock.
