Biografia:
No final de 2008 Megan Washington lançou um EP com a banda Washington, com Lance Ferguson (The Bamboos), John Castle, Des White Des, Ross Irwin e Ryan Monro (The Cat Empire). No mesmo ano foram anunciados como vencedores Triple J Unearthed. How to Tame Lions em Setembro de 2009 foi o segundo EP. Após aparições em Spicks e Specks e RocKwiz, Washington chamou a atenção de um público mais amplo. No ano seguinte ganhou o Vanda inaugural & a Competição Songwriting Young para sua canção, "How to Tame Lions".
