Biografia:
The Wombats é uma banda indie formada em Liverpool por três amigos.
Matthew "Murph" Murphy, guitarrista e vocalista, e o baterista Dan Haggis formaram os Wombats em 2003 quando ambos estudavam no Liverpool Institute for the Preforming Arts. Posteriormente recrutaram os baixista sueco Tord Øverland-Knudsen que também estudava no Instituto, e escolheram o nome da banda ao acaso no dia do primeiro concerto.
