Biografia:
The Submarines é uma banda indie-pop de Los Angeles. Como artistas solo em Boston, os dois membros da banda, John Dragonetti e Blake Hazard, foram apresentados por um amigo em comum. John e Blake logo se apaixonaram e fizeram uma turnê pela Europa juntos. O relacionamento dos dois durou quatro anos. Terminou no Outono de 2004. Depois da separação, ambos continuaram a compor e como Blake ainda gravava suas músicas no estúdio que John tinha em casa
