Biografia:
Kay Starr ou Katharine Starks nasceu em 1922 em Dougherty. Brevemente mudou-se para Dallas, onde ele estreou no rádio. Sua gravação mais popular foi a composição do "Roda da Fortuna".
Kay mais tarde trabalhou, entre outros com Glenn Miller e sua orquestra, e Bob Crosby'ego equipes, Venuti Joego e Charlie Barnet. As faixas foram gravadas a partir de Barnet dado que tal popularidade que logo assinou um contrato com a gravadora Capitol.
