Junior Wells, nome artístico de Amos Wells Blakemore Jr., foi um famoso cantor e gaitista de blues.
Junior Wells nasceu em Memphis, Tennessee, EUA em 9 de dezembro de 1934. Ele se mudou para Chicago (como todo bom bluesman) em 1948 e aos 18 anos começou a ficar conhecido tocando sua gaita na banda de Muddy Waters. Anos depois em 1960 conheceu o guitarrista Buddy Guy, seu eterno parceiro. Sempre se vestiu com elegância, com ternos alinhados e chapéus.
