Biografia:
John Foxx (nascido Dennis Leigh) é um cantor Inglês, artista, fotógrafo e professor. Ele era o vocalista original da banda Ultravox, antes de ser substituído por Midge Ure, embarcou em carreira solo em 1979. Atualmente faz parte do projeto John Foxx and The Maths, juntamente com músico Benge (Ben Edwards).
No incio seu som foi marcado pelo nascente new wave inglês, de artistas como Gary Numan e, pelo proto new wave de álbuns como The Man-Machine do Kraftwerk, estas influencias são notadas em especial em seu primeiro álbum Metamatic.
