Biografia:
James Yorkston (born in 1971 in Kingsbarns, Fife) is a Scottish folk musician. In addition to recordings under his own name, he released a number of albums between 2002 and 2006 as James Yorkston and The Athletes. In 2009 he released an album as James Yorkston & The Big Eyes Family Players.
A native of Fife, Yorkston was an integral early member of the Fence Collective whose reach across contemporary music continues to lengthen: King Creosote, The Aliens, KT Tunstall, The Beta Band.
