Biografia:
O In The Woods... era uma banda de Kristiansand - Noruega, que tocava um Ambient Avantgard e no seu principio Black Metal.
Sua formação inicial se deu pela banda Green Carnation, porém com a saída do principal membro (compositor e guitarrista) "Tchort" (da banda Emperor), o projeto 'In The Woods...' se iniciou.
Em 1993 lançaram uma demo em 1993 (Isle of Men) e depois em 1995 o álbum "Heart of the Ages". Após estes lançamentos, a banda se expandiu além do seu estilo Black Metal e partiu para um som Avantgard
