Biografia:
Erin McCarley, foi criada nos subúrbios do Dallas (Texas, EUA), mas foi quando mudou para San Diego (Califórnia, EUA) que começou a formatar sua carreira de cantora.
O contrato com a Universal Republic logo no primeiro álbum é fruto da participação de McCarley no South by Southwest Festival, em 2008, e da veiculação das primeiras canções da cantora em sua página no MySpace - quando chamou a atenção da mídia.
