Emily Jane White é uma cantora de indie folk. Suas influências incluem classic blues e folk, cantores modernos como Nick Cave e P.J. Harvey.
Após se formar e passar um tempo na França, Emily se mudou para São Francisco para cantar. Em 2 de Novembro de 2007, Emily Jane White lançou seu primeiro álbum, Dark Undercoat pela Double Negative Records.
