Biografia:
Tudo começou em 1999, da idéia de Ramy Kerõnen de criar uma banda chamada Dreamtale. A idéia se tornou realidade no final do mesmo ano, quando as primeiras músicas da banda foram gravadas em fitas cassete. Essa gravação mais tarde seria conhecida como "Shadow of the Frozen Sun".
A segunda gravação demo - na verdade dezenas vieram junto com ela - terminaram numa loja de discos japonesa chamada DiskHeaven, o que acabou chamando a atenção dos metaleiros locais.
